Paul Heeg, O.D.
Dr. Paul Heeg graduated from the State University of New York College of Optometry in June 2010 and is fully accredited by the Texas Board of Optometry. Dr. Paul is educated with an up-to-date knowledge base in the eye care profession and seeks to advance his ability at every chance he receives.
Dr. Heeg strives to deliver the best care through staying involved with his professional association and charitable optometrist organizations such as the TOA (Texas Optometric Association), AOA (American Optometrist Association), FCO (Fellowship of Christian Optometrists) and VOSH (Volunteering Optometrists Serving Humanity). As of January 2014, Dr Heeg currently serves as an officer with the Dallas County Optometric Society, helping his profession and the patients of DFW. He also serves as a volunteer with the AOA and various local charitable organizations. He looks forward to seeing you as a patient soon.
Blessy Philip, OD
Dr. Blessy Philip was born in India and raised in South Florida. She moved to Dallas, Texas to attend University of North Texas, where she got her Bachelor's degree in Biology. She completed her doctorate degree at University of Houston College of Optometry in 2014. She did her externships at Community Eye Care in Forth Worth, Texas and Good neighbor eye clinic in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Philip provides comprehensive eye exams for pediatrics and adults. As a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist, she is trained to diagnose and manage many medical conditions including ocular surface diseases, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and macular degeneration. She is skilled in fitting specialty contacts lenses for astigmatism and multifocal lenses for presbyopia. She strives to provide the best quality eye care to meet her patients needs.
Dr Philip is a member of American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association. She is also an active member of Metro Church of God.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, eating, shopping and doing various arts and crafts.
Lodz Timmer, OD
Originally from Montreal, Canada; Dr Timmer has graduated from University of Montreal in 2010. After having passed the American Board of Optometry, she decided to move to beautiful and sunny Texas. She has been practicing in the DFW area for over three years now. For her, optometry is more than just making glasses, it's about listening to patient's concerns, taking care of them and making their eye care experience better. She has extensive experience in general eye health, pediatrics, contact lenses and also with patients who have health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol. Dr. Christopherson has been practicing optometry for since 1992. Having obtained a bachelor of science degree with honors in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University, she went on to obtain a doctor of optometry degree from Indiana University with honors. She is a member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Christopherson strongly emphasizes patient education and values talking with her patients. Her interest include travel and literature and theater. She also volunteers with the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
